Reverse Phase Dimming

Typically used for electronic low-voltage (ELV) light sources such as halogen and incandescent in the recent past, reverse phase dimming control tends to be more compatible with LED drivers than forward phase dimming in some cases. Similar to forward-phase dimming, reverse-phase is line voltage dimming, and therefore the wiring needed is often already in place for retrofit applications. All USAI ELV dimming options are for use with 120V only. A typical reverse phase wiring diagram is shown below:
