Halogen

Halogen
Characterized by warm color temperatures (3000K), incandescent lamps shift to even warmer color temperatures as they dim to zero (2200K). Smooth, flicker-free dimming and instant on are common in halogen lamps, although most require a low voltage power source. Reflector-style packages make narrow beam spreads common and convenient. Halogen lamps are usually found in accent lights and 4" or smaller recessed apertures.

USAI Lighting LED Halogen Replacement Solution
With USAI Lighting's Point Perfect technology, the focus and intensity of well-loved halogen sources is easily replicated with LED. We have developed a perfect 10 degree beam, and it is available in several of our product lines - but for the closest match to a halogen source, NanoLED offers the smallest aperture. You can also replicate the warm-dim effect of halogen sources using USAI Lighting's Warm Glow Dimming patented, proprietary algorithm and circuitry. For the best match to a traditional halogen solution, Warm Glow Dimming can be specified in the BeveLED Mini product line. Warm Glow Dimming precisely mimics the black body curve of a halogen lamp by gradually transitioning from 3000K down to 2200K as the light source is dimmed.
